Content-Aware Move

Another content-aware feature that you will find useful is the Content-Aware Move feature. Using this feature, you can nudge or entirely move a selection in an image from one location to another. Photoshop will try to seamlessly replace the original location of your selection with the content that is surrounding it, as well as feather and blend your selection in its new location. As is always the case, this does not work well with every type of image, but it can be handy when it does work.

1 Choose File > Browse in Bridge. When Adobe Bridge is forward, navigate to the ps07lessons folder.

2 Locate the image named ps0702.psd and double-click it to open it in Photoshop. You can also choose to right-click (Windows) or Ctrl+click (Mac OS), and from the shortcut menu that appears, select Open with Adobe Photoshop CC. An image of an eagle grabbing fish off the ice appears.
